My success was not overnight. I gave my endeavors lots of time, effort, and sweat before seeing things come to fruition. The simple truth is that the majority of us are simply not born leaders, but become leaders by who we are and the actions we take. As I was growing up my dad made sure that I spent time with him at his stores. He taught me how to do business and make money. When I went to college I knew I wanted to work with money so the perfect job was accounting. Accounting gave me the knowledge to save and invest money and not give so much of it to Uncle Sam. But, my true knowledge in business came from watching the men that surrounded me. They had traits that made them what they are. They were respected by their peers. They trusted their own judgment. creative and envision what their success could give them. They never gave up regardless of hardships.
The adult business is a whole other situation. I came into it for all the wrong reasons and stayed in for all the right reasons. When I came into porn it was because I was bored with my current lifestyle but when I got in I saw all the opportunities to succeed and make money. Where most girls go wrong is that they come in and allow agents to dictate their lives and what they are going to do. Scene after scene after scene… I, on the other hand, was stronger than my agent. I came in realizing what my action plans were. I wanted to make a name for myself. I wanted to direct and produce. I was told by many it would not happen and I would not succeed, so I fought and learned to think like the successful men in adult. In this business it’s great to be a woman (beautiful, sexy, and smart) but it’s best to think like a man.
